One film backs out of this weeks' release

, on Wednesday. However, due to some last minute issues, the film’s release has been postponed by a week. It is now said that the project will hit screens on October 18. The film stars Sri Priyanka playing a cop who faces an unusual issue during her duty. In a recent interaction with press, director Suresh had said that he would like to dedicate the movie to former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa.

Actor-politician Seeman, Harish, ‘Vazhakku En’ Muthuraman and E Ramadoss, among others have played pivotal roles in the film which has been shot at Koneripatti dam near Edappadi, which interestingly happens to be the native place of the present Chief Minister, Edappadi Palanisamy. Suresh, too, hails from the same town. According to Suresh, the CM has watched the film and recommended that it should be screened for 200 women cops. He also shared that eight women cops appreciated him for portraying their plight on screen.
