The postponement will allow the periodic drama to have an extended time for post-production, and the makers are aiming to take the film to film festivals as reported earlier. Directed by Pa Ranjith, 'Thangalaan' features Chiyaan Vikram in the main role with Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, and others in key roles.
