Nothing wrong in calling Vijayakanth captain

Even as ex-serviceman K Dhandapani seeks criminal action against actor Vijayakanth for using the term ���Captain��� despite not serving in the Indian Army, RK Selvamani, who directed Captain Prabhakaran with Vijayakanth, has voiced his support to the actor.
Says the filmmaker, ���There���s nothing wrong in referring to Vijayakanth as ���captain���. We anyway refer to the leader of any sports team as captain; so, it is a very common word.He (Vijayakanth) has been fondly called captain since the release of the film (Captain Prabhakaran). This was much before he entered politics. Also, he has never called himself using that title. It���s his fans and the general public who call him that. So, he cannot be held responsible.���
