The actor apparently asked his fans to take a poll to decide the release date of his film. This is apparently the first time in the history of cinema that an actor asked his fans to select the release date of a film.
The film will be a political thriller and will be made both in Tamil and Telugu.Earlier seen in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual biopic 'Nadigayar Thilagam', Vijay Devarakonda will be making his debut in Tamil as a protagonist with this film.
The film has Mehreen Pirzada as the female lead along
Sathyaraj and Nasser in prominent supporting roles.Anand Shankar of ''Arima Nambi' and 'Iru Mugan fame directs this film written by Shan Karuppuswamy. Produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green pictures, the sensational Sam C.S had composed music for the film.
The film will reportedly clash with 'Raatchasan' starring
Vishnu Vishal and
Amala Paul and '96' starring
Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan which releases a day before it, on October 4.
