Vijay has joined hands with director Venkat Prabhu and the film tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 68' has been progressing steadily. Reported to be a time travel drama, 'Thalapathy 68' involves a huge star cast, while Vaibhav plays a supporting role in the film. Vaibhav has opened up some secrets about 'Thalapathy 68' during his latest media interaction.
While addressing the media, Vaibhav expressed how happy and prestigious he feels to be part of 'Thalapathy 68' and assured that it will be 100% Vijay film with director Venkat Prabhu's touch. Vaibhav is yet to start shooting for 'Thalapathy 68' and he will be sporting a new look for the film. Vaibhav has also spoken about songs in 'Thalapathy 68' and said that Yuvan Shankar Raja is preparing something unique for his reunion with Vijay.
Vaibhav will be seen on big screens in the fantasy drama 'Aalambana', which is directed by Pari K Vijay, and the film is scheduled to release in theatres on December 15. The earlier released trailer hyped the audience for the film, while Vaibhav and his team have been involved in extensive promotions of the film to increase the buzz.
On the other hand, Vijay is said to be playing a dual role in Venkat Prabhu's directorial 'Thalapathy 68' and the film is said to be inspired by the Hollywood film 'Looper'.
