Not Suriya or Siruthai Siva, THIS 'Kanguva' star faces backlash from fans for his fake promise

'Kanguva' featuring Suriya in the lead role, hit the big screens on November 14, and the film helmed by Siruthai Siva, failed to meet expectations. Despite the flaws, the periodic drama promises to be a decent watch in cinemas. However, the film’s high-budget promotional campaigns and fake promises made by the team, made the film face severe trolls on social media. But it's not Suriya or Siruthai Siva, who face trolls, it's Dhananjayan, who is associated with the film's production house. Frustrated with regular 'Kanguva' trolls, Dhananjayan took to social media to take a dig at negativity around the Suriya starrer. The statement "As it’s just around Rs.200 & 3 hours my loss but for them, it’s going to be in crores" from Dhananjayan made him face further trolls and netizens mocking the 'Kanguva' team member for not realizing the team's fault. It is worth mentioning that Dhananjayan boosted the expectations for 'Kanguva' through his several YouTube interviews before the 'Kanguva' release, and he anticipated the film to become the biggest Kollywood blockbuster.








Netizens are mocking the 'Kanguva' team for overhyping the audience through their promotional activities and demanding them to produce quality films instead of blaming the audience. Netizens also recall several other stars from Kollywood facing negativity earlier for their films, and their respect for the audiences' opinion.

'Kanguva' is a periodic action drama that connects the present with 500 years and Suriya played a dual role in taking versatile avatars.
