No villains for Karthi

A lot has been said about actor Karthi���s next film, Saguni. The latest is that the film will not have a typical climax with the hero bashing up the baddies.
In fact, sources say that there are not many villains opposing Karthi in the film, directed by debutant Shankar Dayal.
A source reveals, ���The film is about a man who comes to the city from a village and faces many problems.Though it sounds like a regular drama, what���s interesting is that Karthi doesn���t have to fight villains in this film. He only battles situations and comes out of them smoothly.���
The source adds, ���Shankar has been deeply influenced by the Mahabharatha and the character of Saguni, who leads the Kauravas, in it. He is also like Krishna, who very slyly comes up with winning strategies. If Krishna is a hero, so is Saguni. Hence, Shankar came up with the title and a suitable story. He had Karthi in mind when he was penning the script.���
Saguni, which also stars Pranitha, Radhikaa, Roja, Nasser, Kota Sreenivasa Rao and Santhanam in important roles, has music by GV Prakash.
