The moment you watch the teaser of Mysskin's Onaiyum Aatukuttiyum, you can feel the vibe of his earlier films, specifically the thrillers Anjaathey and Yuddham Sei. And the director agrees that this film is an extension of those two films.
'It's a fast paced action thriller which is about the clash between the good and the bad. As the movie progresses, audiences will realizes that there is goodness even in a bad person and vice versa.

I'm playing the wolf (the bad guy) while Sree (of Vazhakku Enn 18/9 fame) plays the lamb,' explains Mysskin. 'I was impressed with his performance in that film. One day, when we met, I enquired if he was doing his next film and he replied that he hadn't got any offers. Curiously, the idea for this film struck me a few days later and I called him up and cast him in this film,' reveals the director.
Interestingly, the film will have no heroine and no songs. 'I wanted it to be tense and did not want diversions in the tale,' he remarks.
Most of the cast and crew are new barring Ilaiayaraaja who score the music. His previous two films were composed by K, who garnered critical acclaim for his works. Talking about going back to the maestro, he says, 'I consider Raaja sir my mother. Sometimes, I don't want to pressurize him to do my movie. So, I go for another composer but will always return to him when I have an intense subject that is so close to my heart.'
Mysskin says that this has been his most physically demanding film so far. He has jumped from a train, engaged in fisticuffs and has also injured his hand in the process. 'I decided to do my own stunts as I wanted them to be realistic and not heroic,' he says.
