Silambarasan, the leading Tamil actor is delivering his next film titled 'Pathu Thala', and the film is locked to release in theatres tomorrow March 30. The bookings for the film have been open since last weekend, and the film got a solid response. Silambarasan's last release 'Vendhu Thanindhatu Kaadu' opened at 4:41 AM, and therefore fans expecting to watch 5 AM shows for 'Pathu Thala'.

Reportedly, the Tamil Nadu government hasn't permitted the special 5 AM shows on the opening day across the state. So the FDFS will be screened at 8 am on the release date.
The USA premiere of 'Pathu Thala' starts at 6:30 PM on March 29 I.e. 4 AM IST on March 30, and the reservations are going strong. However, it's going to be a record opening guarantee for Silambarasan with 'Pathu Thala', and the film is getting a positive response from the celebrities, who watched the film at a special screening. 'Pathu Thala' has been censored U/A and the film will have a runtime of 2 hours and 32 minutes.
Directed by Obeli N Krishna, 'Pathu Thala' is the Tamil remake of the Kannada superhit 'Mufti', but the film will not be the same comparing the original version as the director has made alterations to the film's screenplay. Silambarasan plays a gangster, while the film also has Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Kalaiyarasan, Teejay, Santhosh Prathap, and Redin Kingsley among others in important roles. AR Rahman is scoring the music, and his music has boosted the buzz for the film.
