Nithyashree's husband commits suicide
The Carnatic vocalist's husband jumped into the Adyar river today and killed himself
Mahadevan was 45 years old and his body was retrieved from the bridge. Police said they were trying to find out the reason behind Mahadevan's extreme step.
Mahadevan is survived by his wife Nithyashree, grand daughter of late D K Pattammal, a renowned singer.
