‘NGK’ second look: Meet Suriya as Nandha Gopalan Kumaran

As reported earlier, the makers of the upcoming ‘NGK’ have released the much-awaited second look poster, which is doing the rounds on the internet. As a surprise treat for Suriya fans, the makers released the poster ahead of the star’s birthday tomorrow.

Sharing the second look poster on Twitter, the production house tweeted, “Here’s the second look from the surprise combo @Suriya_offl & @selvaraghavan’s #NGK.“

Going by the poster, it looks like Suriya plays a character named Nandha Gopalan Kumaran, hence the title ‘NGK’.The poster shows people’s celebration with scores of policemen in the background. However, it isn’t clear whether Suriya plays a revolutionary leader of sorts. Notably, the first look poster showed Suriya in a Che Guevara-styled makeover. Directed by Selvaraghavan, ‘NGK’ has huge expectations among fans.
Being bankrolled by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures, ‘NGK’ has two actresses Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh playing pivotal roles. Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has been brought in to handle the music department.
Made on a big budget, the film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Ilavarasu and Ramkumar Ganesan in supporting roles. Tipped to be a political-drama, ‘NGK’ is slated to release on Diwali this year. The makers are expected to wrap up the film by August.
