She might be doing films in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, but actress Neetu Chandra is fiercely protective of her native, Bihar, and Bhojpuri films.
Her maiden production, Deswa, directed by Nitin Chandra, has been making heads turn in the industry and the girl is happy that it will soon be screened at the Cairo International Film Festival and the film festival in Brisbane.
Says the Aadhi Bhagawan girl, ���Nitish Kumar, CM of Bihar, saw the film last Sunday at a preview theatre in Patna and said he was happy that our film has portrayed Bihar in positive light.

I don���t understand why my state is often shown in poor light in most of the films, despite the fact that several national figures, right from Chankya and Asoka to Bismillah Khan are from here. Bihar is a self-sustaining state. The people are warm and welcoming and so is the climate. This film is a step towards showing Bihar for what it actually is.���
