Nayanthara's wedding documentary, which captures the moments of her marriage with director Vignesh Shivan, has once again found itself in controversy. Nayanthara's wedding documentary titled 'Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale' delves into the love story and marriage of the actress and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. The documentary offers a behind-the-scenes look at their wedding, celebrated as a grand yet intimate affair in Mahabalipuram in 2022, and is now streaming on a popular digital platform.
The wedding video also covers scenes and behind-the-scenes videos from some of Nayanthara's movies. Actor Chitra Lakshmanan, who has been sharing exclusive cinema updates for fans through his YouTube channel, has now shared that the 'Chandramukhi' makers are unhappy with some scenes of the film being included in the 'Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale'.
The makers of 'Chandramukhi' said to have sent a legal notice against Nayanthara and the OTT platform for not seeking proper permission to use it. But 'Chandramukhi' makers have denied the report and said that they haven't filed a case against Nayanthara, and they have already singaled green for the actress to use the respective footage.

It is worth mentioning that earlier 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' producer Dhanush filed a legal petition against Nayanthara and the OTT platform seeking compensation for including footage from the film. Nayanthara mocked Dhanush through a letter on social media over his claim and the dispute between the two popular South stars sought fans' attention.
Nayanthara shined as Durga in the 2005 Tamil blockbuster 'Chandramukhi', starring alongside Rajinikanth and Jyotika. Her role added emotional depth to the narrative, contributing to the film's iconic success. This performance cemented her status as a leading actress in Tamil cinema.
