Nayanthara to play a journalist in a thriller

Looks like Nayanthara is on a signing spree. The actress, who already has five films in hand, has signed her next ��� a globe-trotting thriller, directed by debutant Bharat Krishnamachari. Bharat has worked as a sound engineer in 40 films, including Pudhupettai, Aayirathil Oruvan, Aadukalam and Vaagai Sooda Vaa. He has also assisted Mysskin in Yuddham Sei, Mugamoodi and Savarakathi. ���I had written the script of this film around a year ago. It revolves around a journalist based in France, who travels across various countries in search of her identity. Why she makes this travel and how she manages to reach Tamil Nadu forms the plot. This is a big-budget film and only a star-performer like Nayanthara can carry this role. When I approached her, she liked the script and suggested a big production house,��� says an excited Bharat.

The film, we hear, will roll out in March and the director says that Nayanthara will be performing some action sequences, too, ���though they will be done in a realistic manner.��� It will also be the first Tamil film to shoot in Mangolia.

to handle the art department. ���We will be finalising the other technicians and cast in the next couple of weeks. Right now, we are busy with the pre-production work,��� he informs.
