Nayanthara-starrer ‘Aramm 2’ to start rolling from September

After the glowing success of ‘Aramm’, it was reported that Nayanthara and director Gopi Nainar might team up once again for the sequel ‘Aramm 2’. It looks like the project is now taking its shape. According to reports, the shooting of ‘Aramm 2’ is expected to commence by September this year.
Nayanthara, who is currently shooting for ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, is expected to wrap up her forthcoming film with director Sarjun, which is reported to be a horror film.Reportedly, ‘Aramm 2’ is also tipped to be a social drama, which will talk about several rampant issues. Gopi Nainar is currently working on the script, which will take on caste and religious discrimination. To be produced by Kotapadi Rajesh of KJR Studios, the makers are finalising the cast and crew of the project.
‘Aramm’, which saw Nayanthara playing the role of a collector, opened to rave reviews from critics and made decent numbers at the box office. Nayanthara was particularly appreciated for taking up such a bold subject and acing it to perfection.
On the career front, Nayanthara has films like ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’, ‘Kolayuthir Kaalam’, ‘Imaikka Nodigal’, ‘Visawasam’ and ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ in the pipeline.
