Navarathri captures the victory of good over evil: Parvati Nair

The second day of Navaratri is represented by the colour green, when Goddess Durga takes the form of Brahmacharini. The colour green represents growth and abundance and is the “close representation of mother nature,” says actress Parvati Nair.

“To me, this auspicious time of Navaratri truly captures the victory of good over evil. I offer prayers to Goddess Durga and attend any celebration, happening around. I have my own goddess at my place and I pray to her for victory, protection and success,” she shares.
