National Award-winning filmmaker 'Pasi' Durai passes away at 84

Director Durai, who directed several films including 'Pasi', passed away on the last day (Apr 22) due to ill health. He was 84. Durai has directed 46 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, and worked on many platforms as a veteran scriptwriter, director, and producer in the Tamil film industry. Unfortunately, Pasi Durai passed away yesterday due to ill health and old age. Durai's mortal remains have been kept at his residence in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai for fans and celebrities to pay respects.
