Nassar's statement on controversy within family

Popular actor Nassar, who is the current president of the Nadigar Sangam has come out with a statement after his brother made allegations against him. Nassar's brother Jawahar recently held a press meet and shared personal problems with Nassar and his family. Jawahar alleged that the popular actor has neglected his family and his sister-in-law Kameela had destroyed the family.
Nassar's wife Kameela Nassar is contesting in the Lok Sabha Elections representing Kamal Hassan’s Makkal Needhi Maiam in Central Chennai. Following the allegations by Nassar's brother, the press meet video were used to influence people to vote against Kameela Nassar.
Following this Nassar in his press statement has said, "Recent videos and news about my family have been used by political influencers to defame Kameela Nassar. I think it is dishonorable that just to say 'Don't vote for Kameela Nasser'. She is an individual who is not reliant and is very independent. Kameela did not evolve under Nasser's shadow. She has her own talents, capabilities and individuality."
"If I have to explain my stance to prove my case, I should narrate my 40 years of life but I will do it to the right person at the right time and place. At this moment, this has been exaggerated only to put the candidate down," he added.
