Narthaki goes places

When debutant director Vijayapadma decided to make Narthaki, she wouldn���������t have thought her film would be received well by the industry even before it hits screens.
Now, her film on the life of a transgender is all set to get dubbed in Russian and German. What���������s more, she might also make the film in Hindi with Konkona Sen Sharma!
Talking to Chennai Times, Vijayapadma says, ���������Yes, delegates from the Russian Consulate will be watching a special screening of the film soon.But, they���������ve already expressed their desire to dub the film in Russian and German and release it abroad. Dhanananjayan, who is with a big production house, will also be watching the film. He���������s in talk with me to take the film to Bollywood. I might make it with Konkona Sen Sharma in the lead.���������
Meanwhile, a special screening of the film was held recently for writers in Kollywood. ���������Writers Ajayan Bala, Avvai Natarajan, Suresh Bala, S Ramakrishnan and Janarthanan, director Seenu Ramasamy (of Thenmerkku Paruva Kaatru fame) and lyricist Na Muthukumar watched the film and said they were happy to see such a sensitive subject being handled beautifully,��������� she smiles.
