Following the stupendous success of ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru’, director Karthick Naren announced his second directorial titled, ‘Naragasooran’, a multi-starrer venture, which has been in the making for some time now. According to latest reports, the film has completed the censor formalities and has been awarded a ‘U/A’ certificate.
Announcing the news on Twitter, Karthick Naren said, “Naragasooran censored as U/A with no cuts. Runtime: 1 hr 50 mins. Release date will be announced soon. Trailer on the way.”
Earlier this year, ‘Naragasooran’ found itself in a big controversy after Karthick Naren accused producer
Gautham Menon of cheating. In fact, the duo had a public spat on Twitter, after which
Menon
issued a statement and apologised to Naren. In the statement, Gautham Menon also clarified on the charges that were levelled against him and promised that he would work on the film’s release.
Touted to be a thriller, ‘Naragasooran’ stars Arvind Swami,
Shriya Saran,
Sundeep Kishan, Aathmika and Indrajith in the lead roles. The teaser of ‘Naragasooran’ created positive vibes on social media.
Produced by Gautham Menon’s Ondraga Entertainment, Ron Ethan Yohaan has scored the music for the film. If reports are to be believed, the makers are looking for a release date sometime in September.
