Ananth of 'Meesaya Murukku' fame is all set for the release of his debut film as a director. The film titled 'Nanban Oruvan Vandha Piragu' is about friendship drama, and the cast includes Ananth, Bhavani Sre, RJ Vijay, Monica, Kumaravel, Bala, Irfan, Sabarish, and RJ Anandhi, among others.
The latest is that the film produced by Venkat Prabhu, will hit the screens on August 2, 2024. 'Nanban Oruvan Vandha Piragu' is touted to be a coming-of-age drama about a group of youngsters who are friends. The music for the movie is composed by AH Kaashif.
Director Venkat Prabhu, in his official statement on the film's theatrical release, said that friendship is a gift enjoyed by every person on earth. He has spoken of the importance of his own friends in both his personal and professional life. Also, he appreciated the contribution of young friends behind this film. “I joined this film for friendship. I am very happy that the film celebrates the essence of friendship,” says Venkat Prabhu.
Interestingly, the release date of this film, which is about friendship, has come close to August 4, which is celebrated as Friendship Day.
