Actress Namitha's presence at the store inauguration ceremony in Theni created a flutter among fans. The atmosphere of the event turned festive as a huge crowd showed up for her. Speaking candidly to the press after the event ended, Namitha openly conveyed her wish to act in films with sincerity again. When considering some instances from her past, which she considers mistakes, she asserted that she has no intention to repeat them again. Namitha expresses desire for a Neelambari-like role

Namitha claimed that she needs to be offered “dominant” and “aggressive” parts at the moment. As an illustration, she cited the role played by Ramya Krishnan in Rajnikanth’s "Padayappa", Neelambari. Namitha stated the best part about the film was that the role is still being talked about, years later. “I want such a role that it stays in my head and makes me talk about the role repeatedly. If I get such a character, I’ll perform my best," she said, explaining her needs.

Inspired by Vidya Balan and Radhika Apte’s choices

Namitha also said that she copies Bollywood actresses Vidya Balan and Radhika Apte. She admires their choice of characters and believes they always contribute to the film, helping to build an actress' talent. Her comment, "Like them, I aspire to act in films where the character is the center of the story.
It's not charm, but character that elevates an actress," caught attention.
