Popular choreographer and actor Nagendra Prasad recently landed in controversy as his tenant filed a complaint against him. In the complaint, Nagendra Prasad was reportedly accused of cheating, and it stirred up controversy against the actor. But in the recent media interaction, Nagendra Prasad briefs the issue to clear his side. Nagendra Prasad, who owns a house in Chennai, has given it for rental through an agency, and he was receiving Rs 36,000 as a monthly rental from the agency. But over a year later, the agency failed to pay the actor, and he didn't get a proper response from the agency.

Nagendra Prasad then interacted with his tenants to get the rent, and then he came to know that his house was given for lease, not rental. The tenants have reportedly paid Rs 25 lakh to the relevant agency to occupy the house. So, Nagendra Prasad explained his situation to the tenants and called for a compromise. But they filed a case against the agency claiming Rs 25 lakh and refused to vacate the house until their amount was paid. The disagreement that lasted over six months made Nagendra Prasad frustrated, and he made a new door to the house, blocking the tenant from entering the house.

It shifted the conflict from the agency and Nagendra Prasad to the tenant and Nagendra Prasad. But the popular actor laments his financial situation, as he depends on money to barely pay his EMI and other needs. Nagendra Prasad also doubts that the tenant and agency might be one team, and they are trying to cheat him.

It is worth mentioning that Nagendra Prasad is the younger brother of popular choreographers Raju Sundaram and Prabhu Deva.
