Nadigar Sangam name to be changed to Tamilnadu Artistes Association?

The much-awaited results of Nadigar Sangam elections, which took place in 2019, was announced earlier on March 20, 2022. Pandavar Ani, which includes Vishal, Nasser and Karthi among others, came out victorious. While there was lot talk about the changing the Nadigar Sangam's name from 'South India Artistes Association' to 'Tamilnadu Artistes Association' before and during their first team at office, they now seem to give it a thought. Nadigar Sangam President Nasser, Vice- President Poochi Murugan & Treasurer Karthi met Superstar Rajinikanth today at his residence in discussion regarding changing 'South India Artistes Association' to 'Tamilnadu Artistes Association'. The team will apparently get the members thoughts and approval before making the change. While the 'South India Artistes Association' was the first to be formed in the south and Chennai was the center for all the other southern regional language films to be shot. Later, each regional language started their own artistes Association for their language films. Now, Pandavar Ani also seem to plan to change the association's name from 'South India Artistes Association' to 'Tamilnadu Artistes Association'.
