Na Muthukumar does what Dhoni coudn't

Lyricist Na Muthukumar has written over a 100 songs this year in 2012 and almost close to it last year. The well know lyricist has done something that the Indian Captain MS Dhoni couldn't do in the year 2012, that is to score a century. The lyricist has been the brain behind some of the most addictive songs such as Balleilakka, En Kadhal Solla and Venaam Machan Venaam.
Muthukumar began his career wanting to be a director and worked under Balu Mahendra for four years. But then he became a lyricist, beginning with the lyrics for the songs of the Tamil film Veera Nadai, directed by Seeman. He has been a busy writer over the years and has been writing the highest number of songs every year in for 9 years now.
His recent laurels include Neethaane En Ponvasantham, Billa 2, Thaandavam, Thuppakki, Ammavin Kaipesi, Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal and Samar. Undoubtedly he has given the most unforgettable hits over the years for Tamil cinema.
