Mysskin's 'Pisaasu 2' release date postponed

Director Mysskin has opted to do a sequel to his horror drama 'Pisaasu', and the film is ready for release. 'Pisaasu 2' has been announced to release on August 31st, and the film recently received an 'A' from the censor board. But the latest report suggests that Mysskin's 'Pisaasu 2' will be postponed from August 31st. The makers of 'Pisaasu' are unhappy with the 'A' certificate from the censor, and they are reportedly planning to re-appeal to get 'U/A' as it might help the film in reaching the family audience.So, 'Pisaasu 2' is to be pushed back from August 31st and let's wait for the makers to announce the new release date.
It is worth mentioning that Mysskin, who filmed a nude sequence with Andrea Jeremiah for 'Pisaasu 2', has removed the sequence from the film's final copy as he wishes the fans to enjoy the film with their children as a family.
'Pisaasu 2' second single Nenjai Kelu composed by Karthik Raja has been recently released by the makers, and the emotional song is doing well on musical platforms. The trailer of the film is yet to be published, and we can see the trailer once the makers finalize the new release date. Andrea Jeremiah plays the lead role, while Santhosh Pratap, Poorna, and Rajkumar Pitchumani play roles with Vijay Sethupathi in a cameo role. 'Pisaasu 2' is set to be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
