My wife is going to make my life more miserable now: Kreshna

Actor Kreshna (K Krishnakumar) has filed for divorce from his wife, Hemalatha Ranganathan, in the city family court. In his petition, Kreshna has said that since their marriage on February 6, 2014, Hemalatha ���did not perform her duties as a wife, picked up quarrels at the slightest instance and made life miserable for me���. The petition also added that because of her ���suspicious nature and recalcitrant attitude���, the actor was unable to concentrate on his career.Kreshna also alleged in the petition that he was being physically and verbally abused by his wife. Hemalatha had approached the president of the producers��� council in March 2015, alleging Kreshna had ill-treated her, and she had also filed a dowry complaint against him.
However, when we contacted Kreshna, enquiring about the divorce proceedings, he said, ���I have approached the court for a separation in an amicable way, and I am waiting for the law to do the needful. It���s an extremely private issue and I have taken this decision after giving it a lot of thought. For the past six months, we are living separately, and that is the reason I took this initiative right now. Our married life was not working out; it wasn���t right from the beginning because she was suspicious by nature and would get into unnecessary scraps with me because of that. She doubted everything I did in life and in my profession, and this led to many misunderstandings between us. Life had become miserable.���
He added, ���I was the one who fell in love with her, and only then, my parents arranged this match. But she has created so many problems. I am sure that even now she is going to make a lot of noise since it is I who has initiated this divorce proceeding. She is going to make my life more miserable now.���
