, who was cast as the female lead, opting out of it have started doing the rounds. However, the director asserts that these rumours are baseless.

“Both Priya and Chandini are part of the film; both of them have different, interesting roles. I think these rumours started surfacing after Chandini was also brought on board, but I’d like to clarify that she has a different role in the film.”

The film, titled

Bommai

, is said to be a psycho thriller. While the director is reluctant to talk about the significance of the title, he clarifies, “It’s actually a nice, romantic story, with a small dose of thriller element. It’s not dark or gory, and will be a family entertainer. We are currently shooting in Chennai.”
