Naksha, who informs that she has always wanted to be an actress, says that for her, auditioning for roles itself became a regular practice for acting. “I did attend a method acting workshop for a few months, through which I gained a lot of basic knowledge on the craft. However, I would love to widen my skills further,” she says.

Talking about what she looks for in a role, Naksha, who was selected to be part of Margazhi Thingal following a few rounds of auditions, says, “ What I usually see when I get a role is whether I like the script, and if there would be any impact on the story if my role is removed. In this film, my character, Hema, is one of the principal characters who takes the story forward. Most importantly, I thought I could pull the role off.”

She considers herself to be “very lucky” to have got a team like the one she had for her debut release. “Manoj (Bharathirajaa) sir is extremely supportive and positive as a director and made sure I was well informed about my role and the script throughout. To be able to get acting tips from the legendary Bharathirajaa sir himself has been the biggest highlight,” she says.

The actress, who now has a project each in Kollywood and Tollywood lined up, states that she aims to do “unique projects across languages”.
