Plot and storyline breakdown of 'Mustafa Mustafa'

The film revolves around friendship, chaos, and unexpected complications triggered by a sensitive situation. Karthik (Sathish) is a TV anchor whose pre-wedding life is affected when a compromising video is threatened to surface.


His friend Vasu (Suresh Ravi) and hacker Chitti (Karunakaran) attempt to control the situation through a series of chaotic plans. The narrative follows their efforts to avoid consequences. Overall the film is promised as a fun ride.

ETimes only gave the film a rating of 2 stars out of 5 and our review read, "Director Praveen Saravanan keeps things moving at a reasonable pace, which at least means the film doesn't overstay its welcome at just under two hours. The script still runs on a single idea with no escalation and no real stakes, so the reasonable pace just gets you to the end faster. The comedy operates in the narrowest possible lane: will Karthik get caught? He does. Then he doesn't. Then he almost does again. That's the whole film."
