Music mixing completed for 'Ponniyin Selvan'

The next big film release in Tamil of the year is director Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. It is set for a pan India release on September 30 in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The film stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles. It also has Prakash Raj, Parthiban, Sarathkumar, Nasser, Prabhu, Vikram Prabhu and Aishwarya Lekshmi as part of its cast playing important roles.
The teaser of the film and the first single has already been launched and it has received great response from fans. Now, there is a new update regarding the music work of 'Ponniyin Selvan’. The movie’s music is composed by AR Rahman and it has now been shared that the music-mix for ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ in Dolby Atmos has been wrapped.
Sound designer Greg Townley shared this information by sharing a picture of him from the studio. He captioned it, “Just wrapped mixing the music for a film with AR Rahman in Atmos @arrahman.”
The first single from the film titled ‘Ponni Nadhi’ was released last week and it had a great response. It is expected that the next song from the film will be released in the third week of August.
