Munishkanth in Rajinikanth's film with Karthik Subbaraj

Superstar Rajinikanth is in Dehradun shooting for his forthcoming film with Karthik Subbaraj. The film is being produced by Sun Pictures and also stars Vijay Sethupathi in a pivotal role. The latest addition to the star cast is comedy actor Munish Kanth. Reports also say that actress Simran might play the female lead.
Touted to be an action drama, the names of actors Bobby Simha, Sanath Reddy and Yogi Babu are doing the rounds for the supporting cast.Music composer Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring for the film, which marks his first collaboration with both Rajinikanth and Karthik Subbaraj.
Tipped to be an action drama, the makers are planning to wrap up the shooting three months. Post this film, Rajinikanth is expected to start work on his political journey. On the other hand, Rajinikanth’s sci-fi thriller ‘2.0’ is also expected to release this year.
