’Mohini’: The Trisha-starrer to release on July 27

Actress Trisha Krishnan teamed up with director Madhesh of ‘Madurey’ fame for a horror-thriller ‘Mohini’, which has been under production for more than a year now. The film created some noise when the makers released the first look poster featuring Trisha as the titular character.
According to latest reports, the makers have finally zeroed in on a release date for ‘Mohini’, which would be hitting the screens on July 27.The long-delayed film will be clashing with the Vijay Sethupathi-starrer ‘Junga’, which is also slated to release on the same date.
Apart from Trisha, ‘Mohini’ also stars Aarthi Ganesh, Madhumitha and Swaminathan in important roles. Touted to be a horror-thriller, the film is being produced by Marvel Worth Productions and has music by Vivek-Mervin of ‘Dora’ fame. Notably, the album of ‘Mohini’ was released earlier this year.
Basking in the success of the Malayalam drama ‘Hey Jude’, Trisha has an interesting line-up this year. She awaits the release of the heist thriller ‘Sathuranga Vettai’ starring Arvind Swami in the lead. Apart from these two, the actress also has releases like ‘96’ with Vijay Sethupathi and ‘1818’.
