Post the success of Karthik Subbaraj’s Pizza, the makers of the film came up with the second part with different technicians. Now, the third instalment of this popular franchise, Pizza 3 The Mummy, is ready for release.
Director Mohan Govind, who previously assisted CV Kumar, will be making his directorial debut with this movie. He says that the film will be a proper horror genre flick, unlike the first part. “Unlike the first film, which starts off as a horror film but becomes a comedy film towards the end, this movie will be an intense-yet-emotional horror thriller that will strike a chord with the audience,” says Govind. He adds, “There are certain elements in the third part that take us back to the first-two instalments, but the storyline is unique. ”
Ashwin Kakumanu and Pavithrah Marimuthu play the lead roles in the film. The film also features Qureshi and Kali Venkat in pivotal roles.
This film, bankrolled by CV Kumar , has Arun Raj composing the music and Prabhu Raghav handling the cinematography.
