Vijay Sethupathi's next film with director Ponram is tentatively called '
VJS46
'. While we had earlier reported that Femina Miss India World 2018 winner Anukreethy Vas will play the female lead in the film, the makers have officially announced that Anukreethy Vas has joined the cast of the film.
Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is expected to be a rural masala entertainer with an extensive dose of comedy, love, and action, set against the backdrop of Dindigul. In the film, Vijay Sethupathi will play a cop with music by D Imman and cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan.
Earlier in March, while the team had been shooting in Dindugal, the shooting was cancelled for a day after a fight broke out between film crew and members of press. Vijay Sethupathi and crew members were seen in a heated argument with press in a video that was shared on social media. Police officials intervened and pacified both sides.
