Sharing the poster of the film and a picture from the film's launch with the cast and crew, debutante director Vignesh Sha PN posted, "With the blessings of God. Starting the shoot of my debut film today with Agila Ulaga Superstar "SIVA"" (sic)





Meanwhile, actress Megha Akash has revealed that she is only doing a cameo in the film. Sharing the film's title poster, she posted, "Excited and grateful to play a Cameo in this film…. A very different and interesting character!" (sic)



This will be the first time that

Mirchi Shiva

and Megha Akash are teaming up. 'Single Shankarum Smartphone Simranum' also has Makapa Anand, Anju Kurian and Rajendran in supporting roles. Directed by Vignesh Sha PN the technical team consists of Leon James scoring the music and veteran cinematographer Arthur A Wilson handling the camera.
