Metro to be remade in Telugu?

It looks like the recent release Metro has impressed Tollywood filmmakers so much so that they have been contemplating remaking it in Telugu. The film directed by Ananda Krishnan revolves around the chain-snatching mafia in Chennai. It also shows a journalist taking on the underworld network.

Producers from the Telugu industry, who saw the film, have expressed their interest in remaking the film with Naga Chaitanya in the lead. According to a report, Shirish Saravanan, who played the lead in the Tamil version is likely to play the antagonist in the Telugu version.
