#MeToo movement: Susi Ganesan’s wife calls Leena Manimekalai’s allegations against her husband a lie

With the #Me Too movement also making its way to the various regional film industries, Kollywood has also faced the aftermath of it. One of the latest names to crop up was director Susi Ganesan who was accused by Leena Manimekalai. While the filmmaker has not made a statement yet, his wife has decided to not keep quiet.

According to reports, Ganesan’s wife Manjari lashed out at Leena in an official note on social media and called her a liar and her allegations baseless.She argued that the actress did not even answer simple questions at the press conference and actually lashed out at the media for asking simple questions. Manjari also added that generally a person remembers a negative and traumatic event like this very clearly, so why is Leena hesitating to share the details. Finally, she went on to call the actress a fraud and a blot on the entire movement, while also requesting those siding with Leena to actually think about the details.
