'Mersal'

'Mersal,' starring Vijay in a triple role, is an action-thriller directed by Atlee, and the film marked the blockbuster duo's second collaboration. The film also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, and SJ Suryah in key roles. With music composed by A.R. Rahman, the film revolves around themes of justice, focusing on two brothers, one a doctor and the other a magician, avenging medical crimes and their parents' deaths.

'2.0'

Directed by Shankar, '2.0' stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Amy Jackson in a sci-fi spectacle with music by AR Rahman. Released in China on September 6, 2019, under the title 'Robot 2.0,' it premiered across 48,000 screens, including 47,000 in 3D, marking one of the largest 3D releases in the country. 'Kanaa'

Directed by Arunraja Kamaraj, the Tamil cricket drama 'Kanaa' made history by becoming the third Tamil film to release in China, following '2.0' and 'Mersal.' The film, which was released across 10,000 screens in China, focuses on women’s empowerment and cricket, featuring Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role. Sivakarthikeyan, making his debut as a producer, played a key part in the film's success by playing a supporting role. The cast also includes Sathyaraj, with Dhibu Ninan Thomas composing the music. 'Maharaja'

'Maharaja,' starring Vijay Sethupathi, has a Chinese release on November 29, 2024. Directed by Nithilan Saminathan, this suspense thriller marks Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th film.
