Rachita Ram, a Kannada actress, earned the spotlight with her outstanding performance in the Rajinikanth movie 'Coolie'. Who is Rachita Ram?
Famously known as the ‘Dimple Queen’ of the Kannada cinema, the famous actress was born as Bindhiya Ram on 3rd October, 1992, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in the arts, she has a rich heritage that significantly influences her career; her father, K S Ram, is a Bharata Natyam dancer.
In 2012, Rachita made her acting debut in the popular TV serial opera Arasi. After making her cinematic debut in 2013 with the Kannada film Bul Bul, she has subsequently built a stellar portfolio that includes more than 20 movies. In Dil Rangeela, Ranna, Chakravyuha, and Seetharama Kalyana, among other films, she starred with a number of well-known actors, including Darshan, Ganesh, Kiccha Sudeep, and the late Puneeth Rajkumar.
Rachita has more than 50 fascinating performances under her belt as a trained classical Bharata Natyam dancer. Her sister, a Nithya Ram, has established herself in the cinema and television industries, as well.
Regarding her time in 'Coolie', Rachita was determined to work on her home ground for the first ten years of her career before venturing on to other South films. Rumors surfaced during the film's production about her potential involvement in a Lokesh Kanagaraj film, but Rachita remained silent, stating that she would rather let the filmmakers reveal details when they were ready. In Coolie, she shares the screen with her ‘I Love You’ co-star Upendra.
‘Coolie’ features an ensemble of renowned actors, including Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Aamir Khan. The movie also faces competition at the box office from 'War 2', as the latter was also released on August 14. Meanwhile, 'Coolie' is doing a magnificent box office performance. The is about Rajinikanth as Devaraj "Deva," a former coolie union leader who investigates the mysterious death of his friend Rajasekhar. According to Sacnilk website, the movie has crossed Rs 200 crores.

The so called all super stars' movies have only one theme of vengeance, gory violence, bloodshed and cameo of suggesting moves and grooves. The hero calls the shot and picks up his favourite crew.
