The actress has been busy shooting for Mandira Punnagai, which will mark the acting debut of director Karu Palaniappan of Parthiban Kanavu fame.���������It���������s a heroine-oriented subject,��������� she says excitedly, ���������As the hero doesn���������t have a lot of importance in the story, Palaniappan sir decided to play the role himself.��������� Meenakshi plays a girl who is full of life and believes in gender equality in this flick.
Meanwhile, the glam girl is in love with her latest companion ��������� a dog who she has named Pom Pom! The actress, whose Agam Puram is also ready for release, concludes, ���������Pom Pom is a Lhasa Apso and is the love of my life currently.���������
