The three-day of the music festival spotlighted the next generation of instrumental musicians such as C Charulatha (veena), Indrayuddh Majumdar (sarod), JA Jayanth (flute), and the SaPa Ensemble, and also featured a dance segment with Meghranjani Medhi (Kathak) and Nandini Jaykumar (Bharatanatyam). On the closing day, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, along with L Subramaniam, performed a jugalbandi that ennthralled rasikas.

Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja was the special guest on the final day, and he gave away the award to the veteran sarod musician. "Amjad ji is a legendary musician. God has blessed me to be able to see him and hear his music. We've been seeing him perform for so many years, and sarod is such a difficult instrument to handle. There are no words to describe him," shared the maestro.

"I've been observing and listening to maestro Ilaiyaraaja since the 1970s. He is such a genius and is god-gifted," said the ustad.
