Vijay Sethupathi's 'Master', directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj hit the screens during the occasion of Pongal, to much fanfare. The film recently went on to become Globally No. 1 in terms of the opening weekend box office numbers. And Jagadish, the film's co-producer, went on to write a heartfelt note on the film and what the journey with
Thalapathy Vijay means to him.
"May 2019, it all started with Lokesh narrating a one-liner. Being a travel of almost 2 years, I would call this the most important phase of my life," he began, going on to thank Vijay for being a pillar of strength. "He has been the prime reason for my growth over the years and was instrumental in pulling me up the ladder from a manager to a co-producer of Master," he said, adding that it was a treat to work with Vijay Sethupathi.
He then went on to thank the rest of the team including director Lokesh Kanagaraj, musician Anirudh Ravichander and the rest of the cast and crew.
The film, co-starring Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthnu and Arjun Das among others, is about a college professor who takes on a gangster who exploits young criminals in a correctional institution.
