Maranthen Mannithen gets a U certificate

Maranthen Mannithen a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil produced by Lakshmi Manchu owner of Manchu Entertainment is geared up for a release soon. The film starring Lakshmi, Aadhi and Taapsee Pannu in pivotal roles has been cleared by the censor board with an U certificate.
While the release date is yet to be announced Lakshmi Manchu tweeted "And the Universe said let there by light.U certificate for #MaranthenManithen. My joy has no bounds right now." The added attraction to the movie will be Ilaiyaraaja's melody driven compositions that have already been a hit among his fans.
The script is inspired by four individuals and their stories of the 1986 floods in Godavari districts. Its director Kumar Nagendra has canned the movie by the river banks of Godavari in Chinchinada village to give it a rustic and realistic look. A Telugu version of the movie will also release titled as 'Gundello Godari'.
