Actor Manoj Bharathiraja, son of veteran director Bharathiraja is ready with his debut film as a director. The film titled 'Margazhi Thingal' has has newcomers in lead roles with Bharathiraja playing an important role. The makers have now released the trailer of the film.

The film is said to be a village-based film that will cater to audiences of all age groups and will have love, emotions, drama, and other commercial ingredients. Produced by director Suseenthiran's Vennila Productions, the film also has him in an important role.
Popular music composer Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja has scored the music for the film. Written by director Suseenthiran, the film has been shot around Theni, and in the villages around Madurai.
