Manivannan's Amaidhi Padai 2 sold

The sequel to director Manivannan's Amaidhi Padai, Nagarajan Cholan MA MLA's satellite rights have been sold to ZEE TV for a good price.
The film, which has Satyaraj taking a satirical dig at the political scene in the state, also has Manivannan, Seeman, Raghuvannan, Mrithula and Komala Sharma playing pivotal characters. The original, years ago, was a runway hit at the Box Office and Sathyaraj's character had come in for much praise.
James Vasanthan has scored the music for the film and Ravichandran and Suresh are funding the project. The filmmakers are looking to release the film for the Tamil New Year.
