'Manadu' to go on floors on STR's birthday?

STR made an amazing comeback with his super-successful outing starring Mani Ratnam's 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'. He then announced his interesting lineup with directors like Sundar C and Venkat Prabhu.Sundar C's 'Vandha Rajavadhaan Varuven' was slated for a Pongal release however, the makers have yet to shoot a song sequence, reportedly set to be shot in mid-January. With that, the shoot of 'VTRV' will be wrapped up and the new release date will be announced shortly. After wrapping up work on the projects, STR will team up with director Venkat Prabhu for 'Manadu'. Touted to be an action-political entertainer the recent update is that the film will go on floors on February 3, next year, which happens to be STR's birthday. Also, it is reported that STR will travel to Bangkok for a month to get formal training in Martial Arts for his role in the film. Earlier, National Award-winning editor Praveen K. L. expressed his excitement after listening to the film’s script narration by the director. Suresh Kamatchi is bankrolling the project under the banner V House Productions. However, no other announcements of the heroine, music director or cast have been revealed yet. An official announcement is expected shortly.
