Mamta Mohandas' divorce finalised

Actress Mamta Mohandas who has starred in a few Tamil film like Guru En Aalu and Thadaiyara Thaakka and quite a number of Telugu and Malayalam film has been granted divorce from her husband Prajith Padmanabhan yesterday. The two appeared before a family court to complete the documentation after being married in 2011.
Mamta got engaged to Bahrain-based businessman and her childhood friend Prajith Padmanabhan on Nov 11, 2011.They got married Dec 28 in the same year at Kozhikode. But things did not go well and they started living separately. The two filed for the divorce petition in January this year.
Mamta made her debut in 2005 with Malayalam movie 'Mayookham'. Directed by Hariharan, the film did not do well at the box office, but she walked away with top honours in the film and after that there was no looking back for her. She worked with Malayalam superstars Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi and Jayaram. She also teamed up with Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna.
