Well, director
Bala plans to do it again! No, we are not talking about casting Vishal and Arya together, but about directing an award-worthy film. If the K-town buzz is true, then the National Award-winning director is all set to work on a family theme this time around.
The director, who is all set to make a new flick, was, apparently, scouting for new faces to star in it. He has now roped in late actor Muralis son, Atharvaa, and is looking for a new face to play the lead actress opposite him. According to an industry source, it seems this is based on a Malayalam novel.
The novel has been translated into Tamil by an author called Daniel and is titled Eriyum Thanal, adds the source. The novel is supposedly based on a couple who have a child and the trials and tribulations they face.
The source adds that Bala is allegedly keenon making a movie that will be a hit at international film festivals, whichseems to be the new flavour of Kollywood. As for why he didnt rope in hisearlier heroes for this flick, the whispers suggest that the subject may be tooheavy for the commercially-oriented heroes.
