Directed by Vetrimaaran, Suriya has signed up for the film 'Vaadivaasal'. The movie went on floors last year after a test shoot, but the film's shooting has yet to begin. Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu, in a recent interview with a web portal, reportedly stated that the shooting for the film will continue from the 4th quarter of this year, that is, October 2023.
He also reportedly said that more than hundreds of bulls are being trained in the facility after the test shoot. The producer also revealed that the film will have a few scenes that will be made through computer graphics as they involve sequences with animals.
'Vaadivaasal', starring Suriya in the lead role, is a film about the local Tamil sport 'Jallikattu'. The film is adapted from the novel 'Vaadivaasal', written by CS Chelappa. On the work front, Suriya is currently shooting for his film 'Kanguva,' directed by Siva. Meanwhile, Vetrimaaran is busy with the work of 'Viduthalai Part 2," starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi.
